Description

The Human APJ R (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell was engineered to not only express CREB signaling response element, but also express the receptor full length human Apelin receptor (APJ R) (Uniprot: P35414). In this reporter system, Forskolin stimulation induces the cAMP production, thereby driving CREB-mediated luminescence. In the presence of APJ R agonists or Apelin, which inhibits the forskolin-induced cAMP production, resulting in a decrease in luminescence.

Application

• Screen for agonists that can bind and activate APJ R
