We had purchased this antibody to be used in our in vitro pseudovirus neutralization assay. We had used it as a positive control for our assay. the assay worked very well and the antibody showed a dose dependent inhibition of the pseudovirus

We have used this products in running out ELISAs to estimate the antibody levels in patient samples and the consistency in results was great. Easy to store the product. Most stable antigens in the market which can withstand slight temperature fluctuations. Long term stability. Was able to generate great results which are published already. Along this pandemic timeline, Acro is the only company which has been persistent with manufacturing all new mutants as soon as it is updated on CDC which helped a lot in understanding the mutant faster and generating data. We placed an order for Omicron RBD, to run side-by-side analyses of our neutralizing antibodies against Omicron vs Wild type/Wuhan RBD protein (also from Acro) in biolayer interferometry experiments. AcroBio's Biotinylated Omicron RBD protein loads onto streptavidin biosensors very well - achieving a 1nm spectral shift within 40 seconds using a 100nM solution. We were able to obtain satisfactory results that were consistent with findings from other orthogonal methods for characterizing our antibodies (ELISA, viral infectivity, etc). Protein arrived in a timely manner.

This omicron protein is a really great product and is high quality. The protein came on time to conduct our experiments and we were able to produce satisfactory results from using this protein. Ordered S1N-M122 as a positive control for ACE2 competition experiments with a panel of SARS-CoV-2 variant RBDs. This antibody worked incredibly well, binding the tested variant RBDs with high affinity. Additionally, this antibody blocked 100% of ACE2 binding to the RBDs and when paired with S1N-M130 they serve as important competition controls to ensure that the RBDs and ACE2 are behaving as expected. Overall would highly recommend this product.

As mentioned in the description, this is not a neutralizing antibody and it does not block ACE2, which made it a perfect binding control to ensure that the RBDs were in good shape and functional. I ordered the Omicron RBD protein to test against a Wuhan RBD protein in an ELISA assay to determine the efficacy of a COVID-19 treatment that I was working on. AcroBio's Omicron RBD protein coats very well to the plate, and I achieved satisfactory results that were statistically consistent with the results that I have always received with the Wuhan RBD protein. I would recommend ordering from AcroBio- not only was my protein well-packaged in dry ice and delivered in a timely manner, but their customer service is amazing and even personally called me to check up on the status of the package.

We have used many of the ACRO Biosystem's receptor binding domain proteins for assessment of nanobody binding. In biolayer interferometry assessments we have found the quality and purity of the proteins to provide reliable affinity measurements (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.11.10.468147v1) of the B.1.617.2 and other variants of concern derived RBDs. ACRO has also provided rapid availability as VoCs have emerged which has proven extremely useful in characterization of nanobody candidates. Continued production of VoC antigens will aid in additional investigations and advancements as the pandemic progresses.
